- Directions to Abundant Life Church. From Interstate 40, go North on Mt Juliet Road (Exit 226B coming from Nashville, and Exit 226 -turning right - coming from Knoxville), and continue until light number 5 and turn right. From Lebanon Pike, go south on Mt Juliet Road (Right beside Rite-Aid), continue to light number 5 and take a left. The church will be on your right immediately behind Celebration Lutheran.
- STARTING TIME FOR OUR SUNDAY GATHERING!! Please make a note that our starting time for the Sunday Gathering is 9:30 a.m.
- July 18th - Ladies Fellowship beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Doris Bratcher and Anita Crosby. The address is 700 Southwood Park Place in Nashville, near Briley Parkway.
- July 20th - Churchwide shower for Don Poythress and Aubrey Anderson. This will be held at the home of Pastor Larry and Anne Grainger. The address is 1274 Bates Rd, Lebanon, TN. The shower will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Primarily Concerned with What is Primary
Is your life a wreck? Do you wonder sometimes if God has forsaken you and ceased hearing your prayers? Does everything you touch turn to shambles? What a way to begin this month’s letter! Take a look at these words and determine if they are something that you can relate to. “You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes!” Have you ever felt like you could identify with this proclamation by the prophet Haggai? You are not alone. The current climate in the United States, and other countries as well, is one of concern because of rising fuel prices, an economy that seems to be faltering (although I am not totally convinced of that yet), and numerous families making adjustments because of strains on their financial situation. Maybe we can find answers for some of us in this account recorded in the first two chapters of the Book of Haggai.
